Thrifton Hill Park is in a 10-acre county park bordering Route 66 in the Maywood neighborhood. The trail was created in 2006 using boxes built by Charlie Chambers with Barbara Chambers training monitors. We have four nest boxes and two trail monitors.  Although we have yet to attract any bluebirds, we have fledged many house wrens and occasional chickadees.
