Barcroft Park is a large 65-acre park located near the Barcroft Sports & Fitness Center. The nest boxes were gradually built and installed from 2014 to the present. With 21 nest boxes, Barcroft Park trail is the largest VBS trail in Arlington. The trail features mostly smaller nest boxes sized for chickadees and wrens and two new bluebird nest boxes. The nest box monitoring team was established in 2023.
